COURSE OVERVIEW
Are you passionate about the places you live in? Do you wish you could find ways to improve these spaces, whether it is as simple as moving a few furniture pieces or a more advanced intervention? If this is the case, the Higher Certificate in Spatial Design might be for you. Spatial Design, similar to Interior Design in many ways, considers design beyond the interior. This qualification incorporates aspects of several related disciplines, including architecture, interior design, furniture design, and sustainability. It focuses on how we relate, engage, and interact with the spaces around us. The modules covered in this qualification will prepare you to produce basic design and contract documentation, preparing you for the world of work after graduation. Throughout your studies, you will create a portfolio of work that can be used to secure employment or further your studies in Architecture or Interior Design.
