COURSE OVERVIEW

This 8 – 9 hours short learning programme is designed for all architectural professionals, interior designers, students, and anyone who wants to improve their hand-drawing skills to design and present spatial design projects. The course is presented in bite-sized videos by Michael Borgström, an established creative artist and designer. Michael guides you through his own process and practice of hand-drawing and illustrates ways in which you can develop and improve your artistic licence. 

 

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE

This course will run monthly from the start of June until the end of November. Monthly intakes will occur before or during the first week of every month. Should your application be received after that, you will be enrolled for the next month or later, according to your selection. The short learning programme should be completed by the end of the month that you enrolled in.

TOPIC 03 – HOW TO BRING LIFE INTO YOUR DRAWINGS

  • Introduction to bringing life into your drawings

  • Incorporating human figures

  • Adding landscape & vegetation

  • Including vehicles

TOPIC 04 – HOW TO COMMUNICATE YOUR IDEAS IN 3D

  • Introduction to 3D drawings

  • Two-point perspective

  • One-point perspective

TOPIC 05 – HOW TO PRESENT YOUR DRAWINGS

  • Formatting options

  • Setting the scene(s)

  • Evaluating your drawings

  • Labelling your drawings
