COURSE OVERVIEW

This 8 – 9 hours short learning programme is designed to help young aspiring and practicing architectural professionals and designers develop a new way of looking at the landscape. From culturally loaded heritage sites to functionally driven urban environments, different elements that make up the landscape are explored, as well as the essential tools and strategies landscape architects apply.

The course is an introduction to the different approaches used in landscape architecture and aims to broaden the way that landscapes are viewed and appreciated. This short learning programme provides an overview of the design reasonings and processes, from a landscape architect's perspective, to create meaningful landscapes and explore different practices through precedent study and activities.

 

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE

This course will run monthly from the start of June until the end of November. Monthly intakes will occur before or during the first week of every month. Should your application be received after that, you will be enrolled for the next month or later, according to your selection. The short learning programme should be completed by the end of the month that you enrolled in.
