COURSE OVERVIEW
This short course introduces a student to the fundamental concepts and principles of visual merchandising. It is important to have an understanding of client briefs and preparing for displays before the final installation. Students will need to be able to think creatively and be able to share ideas that will contribute to a successful window display.
Classes for this short course will be online once you have paid the Tuition fees you will receive a link to access the course and content. Each individual will work and finish the course at their own pace, as long as all assignments are submitted within 6 months from the initial start date.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to apply creative thinking to create window displays that are aligned to the requirements of client briefs.
The minimum requirement to enter into this course is the minimum age of 16.

COURSE CURRICULUM

Knowledge of the language used in visual merchandising

Knowledge of the use of props and accessories to enhance the displays

Be able to read client briefs in order to prepare for the visual merchandising of a window/store

Cultivate a creative thinking approach to solve problems

Be familiar with floor layouts and window display

Know how to use different strategies for setting up a window display

Be familiar with the process of preparing for a mock display and final installation
