Private Residence - Bellville, Cape Town

THE RESIDENCES

Through its partnership with Study & Stay, students at Stadio’s Bellville campus can enjoy a choice of four residences which are designed to offer a positive living and learning environment where life-long friendships can be forged.

In total, the residences can accommodate 40 students with designated buildings for male and female students. Each residence has a central kitchen, living room and an outside communal area with braai facilities.

An extensive renovation programme will see a solar PV system as well as laundry facilities installed in the early part of 2024.

Study & Stay strives to offer a living and learning environment that fosters students’ holistic development as well as being fully supportive of their academic programme.

BEDROOMS

Students have an option to choose between a Deluxe (Single room) and/or Leisure (Shared room).

Each room has built-in cupboards, blinds or curtains, beds and a chair. Rooms are cleaned once a week.

Students can personalise their space by bringing:

Bar fridge not exceeding (Height: 84cm x Width: 46cm x Depth: 50cm) T&C’s apply as per contract.
Computer/laptops
Electric fans
Bedding (own linen, duvet, blankets etc.)

FOOD SERVICES

Study & Stay residences do not offer any food catering services. However, each student house is equipped with a fully functional kitchen which includes gas hobs, airfryers, microwaves, kettles, toasters etc. Students are required to bring their own crockery.

RESIDENCE STUDENT SUPPORT

The main residence campus, which houses three of our accommodation buildings, has a full-time superintendent on duty and is supported by the Hostel Committee members. The Hostel Committee members are selected annually by the respective residence students. The main purpose of the council is to promote good relationships between all residents and to assist all.

PARKING AND TRANSPORT

There are a limited number of parking bays for students with their own cars. These are reserved on a first come first served basis as the time of booking accommodation.

A minibus shuttle service that runs between the residence and campus at defined times is available for students without their own transport. A monthly fee is payable for this service - refer to the Study & Stay contract for more information.

SECURITY

Student and staff security are our first priority. The main residence campus, which houses three of our accommodation buildings, has an onsite security guard from 18h00 to 06h00 seven days a week. All properties have electric fencing and CCTV monitoring.

SPACE & FACILITIES

The move from your home to an accommodation can be jarring, it is important to secure accommodation that is spacious and has the facilities that make you comfortable and suit yours needs. Having a kitchen and your personal bathroom can make a huge difference to your tertiary education experience.
