JEANETTE SMIT
Head of School
Diploma in Policing; BA (Psychology and Communication); BA Honours; Advanced Diploma in Management; MA in Communication; MSc In Criminal Justice Studies.
Jeanette has worn many hats - police officer, lecturer, researcher, and now Head of STADIO’s School of Policing & Law Enforcement, where she somehow keeps 5000+ students on track. She holds an MSc in Criminal Justice and an MA in Communication, but her real fuel isn’t coffee - it’s Five Roses tea. Once a keen 10km and 21km runner, she now gets her steps in with her beloved dogs, who basically run her life. Fiercely non-domesticated (don’t ask her to bake!), Jeanetta prefers good food, laughter, and time with close friends. She believes learning should be serious in outcomes - but always fun in process.
