Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this Online Short Learning Programme.

However, it is recommended that the applicant has achieved English language competence at a level that is equivalent to Grade 12.

COURSE CURRICULUM

  • Unit 1: What is entrepreneurship?

  • Unit 2: Getting out the starting blocks

  • Unit 3: Forming a business

  • Unit 4: Developing products and services


At the end of this Short Learning Programme, you should be able to:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the vital role of entrepreneurship in the 21st century

  • Describe the skills and traits required to function effectively as an entrepreneur

  • Explain how entrepreneurial ideas are generated and how they translate into the elevator pitch and the business plan

  • Identify the various types of business entities and the statutory requirements for establishing a new enterprise

  • Describe the product development process and summarise the subsequent product sales process
